LDS Scripture Heroes: Fun and Educational Games for Kids
LDS Scripture Heroes is an iPhone app developed by Mormon Cartoonist LLC. It is a free game designed to entertain and educate children about scriptural heroes from the Bible, Book of Mormon, and early history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The app features five different games that engage children in learning about the lives and testimonies of these heroes. With original artwork and dozens of sounds and voice recordings, the app provides an immersive experience for young players. The games include Memory, where players flip cards to find matching pairs, Match the Silhouette, where players identify the hero based on their silhouette, and What goes with _____?, where players match objects to the hero. Additionally, there is Assemble the Puzzle, where players piece together jigsaw puzzles depicting scriptural stories, and Which Pictures Match?, where players identify identical pictures.
LDS Scripture Heroes is suitable for children of all ages, with no confusing menus or navigation. The app offers unlimited play, with each game flowing seamlessly into the next. It is also a universal app, working great on iOS 5 and supporting retina display.
